We designed and developed a website for Stoke Project that brings their unique social experiment to life online. The site helps explain how “Stokens” work, gives each coin a place to build its own story, and makes it easy for participants to submit the adventure that led to receiving their coin.
Stoke Project is not a traditional company or nonprofit. It is a community-driven project built around adventure sports, shared experiences, and the ripple effect of inspiration. The interesting challenge was creating a digital platform for something physical and personal: coins passed from one athlete to another, each carrying a story forward.
Stoke Project is a social experiment created to capture and celebrate the inspiring connections made through adventure sports. Using limited-run coins called Stokens, the project tracks how meaningful outdoor experiences are shared from one person to another. Each coin is passed along after a memorable adventure, allowing the community to document how inspiration continues to move through the action sports world.

Bringing a Social Experiment to Life Online
The website includes a coin library where visitors can explore Stokens in circulation, a story submission form tied to each coin ID, space for photos and experience details, and clear instructions for how to receive, record, and pass along a Stoken.
The site also supports the broader storytelling goal by turning each coin into part of a living record of adventure, connection, and inspiration.
